Welcome to The First Presbyterian Church of Loudonville Ohio

Our church is a member of the Muskingum Valley Presbytery,  Synod of the Covenant and the Presbyterian Church – USA.

A quote from the church history reads, “The book of Acts ends in what appears to be the middle of a story. So, too our story is not complete. The Holy Spirit is still writing a testimony of God’s grace among us.” With God’s grace there will be many more ways to learn, serve and follow Christ in the weeks, months and years to come.

Our Church was formally established in 1873. The first church building was located on land that is now adjacent to Central Park. As the church membership grew so did a need for a larger space. In 1910 that search led to the purchase of the English Lutheran church building at 225 East Main street, where it stands today.
